All new employees of Loyola University New Orleans are required to attend a New Employee Orientation Program. The program is designed to welcome new employees, thoroughly acquaint them with policies and information important to working at Loyola, and ensure that each employee is properly registered for payroll and benefits.


All required information and trainings are provided to new employees through the online onboarding process.

New staff orientation meetings are held once per month and are required for the first six months of employment to continue to orient new employees within the university.

New faculty orientation is held at the beginning of each academic year and they are invited to the Human Resources sponsored monthly orientation meetings for the first six months of their employment.

Notification is sent to each new staff member notifying him or her of the time and place of the required monthly orientation sessions. New faculty members are invited to attend the optional monthly orientation meetings.
